I guess this just depends on what you believe. Many religions have very different views on this subject. Some religions tend to believe that theirs is the only true religion, and everyone else is damned. In my personal beliefs (the Hindu tradition), all roads lead to God. It doesn't matter whether you pray to God, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, etc. I believe that it all goes to the same mailbox. God goes by many names in many different cultures. As long as you are trying to live your life in the best way possible, and trying to be a good person, I don't think that God will care which religion you follow.

    I hope this helps! :)

Look God said the only way to him is through the son  Jesus Christ. So if the religion does not believe in the trinity, The Father,Son and Holy Spirit..it is not of God.many religions acknowledge Jesus, but refuse to acknowledge he was the son of God.they also refuse to accept that the Holy Spirit was sent down to us by Jesus so therefore it does not exist... No religion is correct.God is in your heart.not your way of life. So many people of region, especially those with big fancy titles are going to burn in hell because their heart is not of God.

God is about who you are, your morals and your actions. If you feel that your god treats people well and you live without guilt then it doesn't matter what religion you represent.

Is this kind of like how as a kid and you stop believing in the tooth fairy, then you stop getting money under your pillow?

I would think so, because they all lead back to one ultimate being as the creator, and have a lot of similarities to them, like the garden of eden for one. I think that God loves all, and he doesn't judge your religion as long as you believe in Him.

Ask Him, if He's God, He certainly can answer for Himself, and confirm as well. :)

no, not all religions are acceptable to God, only those which teaches He Is the only God, and Jesus Is His SOn, Who came to earth to die and raise again for His people.  Any other religion, is a cult- if it adds to or takes away from Jesus and the Bible.  anyone who does not claim Jesus as GOd, is an Antichrist according to 1 John 2:22

This is a belief question: It depends on what you believe! Personally i am a Christian, so I believe that believing Christ is my saviour and embarking into a relationship with God is the key to eternal life, as the bible states.

Other religions do not look at Christ as the Son of God, they do not believe he was raised from the dead, they do not believe that every sin and illness in the entire world was placed upon him on the cross.  I think you can be any religion you want and still be acceptable to God as long as you place your faith in Jesus really, but it's borderline, there are certain elements and situations that would be except.  This question is a bit bland really it would have to be more specific in order to be answered fully.

For a final answer I'd have to say no, God wants you to believe Jesus died for you and start having this working relationship with you.

Hello mike998, the answer to your question is NO!!  Read Exodus 20:1-3.  He is a jealous God!  Exodus 6:3 tells you His name, which is Jehovah.  But the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit work with the Father, which together they make one.  John 14: 6 tells you the true way, and any other way is wrong.  For example, lets say you (Mike), say me in a car that was on fire.  You went to the car, opened the door, and pulled me to safety, but in the process, you burned your hand on the hot door handle, and while reaching inside, your leg caught on fire.  Your flesh is burning, but you had to get me to safety before the car blew up.  You Did it!! I'm safe, but when asked who saved my life, I tell every body it was your mother, and I gave all the credit to her, how would you feel?  Now how do Jehova feel when His son died a brutil death for us, but some of us keep praising buddha for what Jesus did.  Do you think God mind?

This is an easy one. ABSOLUTELY NOT. God, the true God of heaven, only accepts faith in his Son Jesus Christ as true faith. Christ said I am the way, the truth, and the life, NO ONE cometh to the Father except by me. The bible makes it plain that believing in false gods is idolatry and paganism, which will all pass away and be destroyed in the end. Just trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior.

No!  if you read your bible you would know this.  God destroyed people all through the bible that did not worship him the way he wanted them to.  The bible says:  without holiness no man shall see God.  So that plainly says you have to live a holy life.  Just claiming to be a christian doesn't make you one!

In my opinion, yes and no. Yes, because i believe god is in everything. No, because i think if god is a sentient being rather than a power i think he/she/it would be against the taking of organized religious texts too literally.
