Do You Shred Mail Before Throwing It Out?
I understand it's important to shred paperwork that has sensitive information like account or Social Security numbers. What about things like donation requests that only contain my name and address?

Name and address are public information anyway in most people's cases. I personally do not shred anything I don't feel has vital information on it. Name and address are easy to access. I wouldn't shred them.

Yes it is very important to shred mail that has sensitive information. As it can lead to problems in the future. I usually tear up such pages before throwing them out. Donation requests only contain name and address which is only harmless. Otherwise I throw them away as it is.
