How Do You Tile Cement Walls?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Tiling a cement wall or any other surface for that matter is no easy task. Such work is best left in the hands of a professional to avoid shoddy, uneven and non durable job. If you need to save as much as possible, it would be best to purchase all the raw material yourself and then hire a local handyman to do the actual the job.

To get a rough idea on the number of tiles to be purchased accurately take measurements on the area to be covered. Divide this by area of the specific size of tiles that you've opted for. Always purchase some extra tiles.

Make sure that the cement wall you are going to tile is clean, dry and even before starting out. After sticking on the tiles you will need to remove excess adhesive and proceed to grouting.
