How Many People Are Involved In A Rugby Team?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are lots of rules related to the number of players a team must have while playing rugby.  There should not be more than fifteen players in one team while playing a game. However a team can play with less then fifteen players but only if the game is authorized by the union and the authority allows you to play with fewer players.  However, the number of players must not be less then twelve, which means you can only take out three players.

Replacement of players should be permitted in trial matches and in union authorized match. However players can be allowed a substitute but not more than four players shall be replaced in a game, in each team. If you decide to replace a player permanently, that player cannot resume playing the game in any case. You can understand more rules from www.uidaho.edu.
