Dear friend, life is the name of a perpetual transition. Its events never cease to flow. Hence, the only good and the only virtue are to reconcile your energies with the flux of life.
Coming to your particular case, I'd like to exemplify the aforesaid philosophy by my personal experience. I was a shining student when I first got admission in college. When I studied my course there, I found it to be just easy. So, I didn't pay much attention to that. Consequently, when the examination arrived, I didn't have any reliable preparation. I was so embarrassed that I thought of the very plan that you're proposing. Then, at that time, my late father, came and made me view the whole thing in quite a different way, the same way that I'm going to show you. I mustered up courage to accompany the mighty flow of life and got through in first division. The basic thing that I'd done was to be sincere with what I'd never taken seriously i.e. my studies. Sincerity is the soul of every successful assignment. Without sincerity, you may work hard and even get through but that won't be your success. That'll be the success of the man who you oblige the compulsion to work. Be sincere; sincerity will automatically induce a passion for hard work and struggle in you. First of all, cast a glance on the prospects that'll be there if you get success. Won't they all be yours in the near future? You urge for them; you want them to be "yours"; here you start considering your "self". You are sincere with yourself, otherwise you'd not have been longing for the prospects. On maintaining this, don't you think it illogical not to be work upon their very base, the studies that'll lead you to them? Buck up darling! If you can desire for something, you do have power to achieve it. Had there been no water on earth, we wouldn't be feeling thirst; there must have been some alternative. This very thirst implies the existence of something that can extinguish it. Doesn't it? Be sincere with yourself and you are what you wish. Chin up, you're now going to study and I'm sure I'll soon hear you get through your papers. Be praying for me. Thank you!
