Call 1-800-829-1040 and let the IRS agent know who you are and request previous years copy of all w2's. This is the ultimate resort when former companies are unwilling to help you. When calling please be patient. They will send you a transcript of the companies  you worked for. If you need to file and your state requires you to file, you must contact your local tax authority and let them know you need  copies of your state w2's as well. Sometimes the state will tell you what you paid in state or local withholding over the phone. But the IRS will mail you the info. This takes no more than 10-15 days. Good luck
