    The Leicester City Football Club is a football club located in the city of Leicester. The club team has also been dubbed as 'The Foxes'.  Leicester city plays its football in the 'Football League championship' - the second biggest league in England after the 'English Premier League'.  The Leicester City have never won the English premier league or the First Division. However they have won the second division league of England six times.

    The Leicester City Football Club was founded in the year 1884. At that point of time it was known as the 'Leicester Fosse', this name was given as the team used to practice in a nearby field of Fosse Road. Their previous home ground stadium was Filbert Street; they played there for nearly 111 years before shifting their base to the recent Walkers Stadium.
