Both Of My Children Were Born With A Small Hole In Front Of Both Ears. What Could It Be?

I never thought anything of it until I researched the condition online. Some say it's a benign and common condition while others say it's a sign of something more serious. I have had no problems with my 15 month old as of yet, but I am wondering if there's cause for concern...Anyone with any insight?
