My Dog's Skin Is Turning Black, What Could It Be?
She is 15 and she smells and is losing fur, cysts are starting to arise as well.

All these symptoms suggest that your dog is suffering from Hair loss (alopecia) and darkening of the skin (hyperpigmentation), following foul smell. This disease is commonly known as Black Skin Disease. This disease is caused by abnormal hormonal changes in the dogs.

When we had this problem with our dogs the vet gave us some special shampoo to help the condition. I would go and see your vet.
