You should be worried. My sister went through this (although she only got to around 80-85 lb.) and she's coming out of it now. It turned out that it was mainly due to our dad's death, five years ago. Maybe you went through a traumatic experience lately and you are processing it now? Also, my sister had practically become vegetarian w/o realising it. She had dropped dairy and deserts out as well. For example, cereal was one of her favorite foods, but she stopped eating it.
Some good eats for gaining weight are: Avocado, chocolate (it's actually good for you, esp. Dark chocolate.), radishes, and goji berries. David Wolfe has a few books about this stuff, so you should read it. It's good stuff!
Hope I was of help!
If you are losing that much weight without trying to, then you need to go and see a doctor about this, it isn't healthy and it isn't going to heal itself. You are really taking a risk with your life if you don't go. Please do so today. God bless.
Yes if you are loosing it unsupervised then you should worry. If you are being supervised by a dr than i think its fine
Ideally a female that is 5'1'' should weigh a minimum of 104lbs no more then 140lbs and ideally they should weigh 122lbs. For a female that is 5'2", they should weigh a minimum of 107lbs no more than 144lbs, and ideally they should weigh about 126lbs.
As long as you are eating healthy, exercising and your are seeing a doctor about it then don't worry.
Reality shows are boasting of the weight loss attained by their participants. If you are in your ideal weight and you are losing weight, it could have many causes. Maybe you have more school work. Maybe you are devoting more time to athletics. Or it could be depression.
A doctor will be able to determine for sure what it is about.
My daughter is almost 13 next month. She is about 5 1 1/2 like you, that is my height also. She weighs around 80 pounds. I cant seem to find any clothes that fit her they all fall off. She even eats she just has a fast metabolism I guess. I doubt it will be like that forever though.
She has friends I have met and some other girls at school whom are taller shorter that weigh more than her. But that is life. I think they feel just as awkward about things as she does. They just might never admit it. There is no real weight someone should be at during their teenage years it varies on everyone. During your teenage years you will go through so many growth stages its crazy. So it maybe awkward now maybe its not it is for my daughter but that wont be like that forever. I am a medical assistant I just stay home with my kids right now though and so I would say just eat healthy and try not to stress so much. If you do lose much more weight then I may go to a doctor if its possible. Don't worry too much.
Well if you think you are unhealthy yes, but if you are in good shape and happy with yourself than no.
