How Long Do People Usually Date Before Getting Married?

I would say about as long as it takes to really found out all about that person.  Me myself i got married within 2 years of dating my husband.  And i really don't know that much about him.  In the marriage of 5 years i found out a lot about him.  Things that was not so good.  So i would wait as long as you can to find out about this person.  You can't really put a time on that.  Some people get married within months.  To me that is to fast.  They end up getting out of the marriage fast.  Take your time and check out what you are getting.  Good luck!
