Answers
Dry and wet refer to volume measurements. Ounces can be a weight, volume of fluid, or volume of a dry item like corn meal. Gold is measured in troy ounces or grams. A Troy ounce is a weight measurement. A gram is a mass measurement. Weight and mass are the same for wet or dry substances and the terms "wet" and "dry" are irrelevant for gold.
