The use of any intellectual property of software without the author's will is called software piracy. The industry of video game is growing day by day and many people who belong from different age groups like to play video games. This industry has earned the profits of 20 billion dollar in one year.  The main video games industries are Sony which has the popular brand of playstation and Microsoft with X-box and the third big one is Nintendo with Game cube. This industry is facing problems since last two years one of the major problem is video games piracy.            Controlling piracy is a very tough job. Piracy is nothing but making illegal copies of copyrighted material. There is an endless of piracy which includes piracy of movies, piracy of songs, piracy of books, piracy of video games, etc.

           Video games are mostly available of CD's or DVD's which can be used to play on your personal computer or consoles like Xbox, Playstation etc. People who do not want to spend money on the original version of the game available in the local market will spend a few pounds to get the pirated copies of the game. If you buy a pirated version of the game, you may not be able to access certain feature of the game, you may not be able to receive customer support.
