How Might An Infection In The Throat Spread To The Ear?

Ear nose throat are all connected by one system.  That is why there are specialist who call themselves just that, ear nose throat specialist. Lol I know that sounds silly, but in fact it is very true. When your ears pop for instance when changing elevation, they recommend you swallow, the air is distributed when you swallow helping ease the popping sensation.  Block your ears and swallow.  You will see how it is so well in tune to each other. Because these three as so closely connected, spread of infection is greater.  Make sure to gargle with salt water, use a saline spray for your nose to flush out, and this should prevent further spread.  If this does not do the trick, you may have to take an antibiotic spray, drops or pills.  Check with your doctor if your condition worsens
