Water conservation is simply to save water so that it can prevent water shortages and be used by ourselves and future generations. We know that almost three quarter of the earth surface area is covered with water but this water is in the form of frozen icebergs and glaciers and there is a great need to save fresh water that is required by us in our daily activities.
As water resources are not being maintained, are getting depleted due to lack of responsibility on human part, this will lead us to the times where we wont be able to have sufficient amount of water for our daily use. If water conservation is given a bit of consideration this will help us to preserve wildlife water habitats and the need for building new dams and water diversions will also be minimized.
The simple reason to ensure the future generations will be able to take advantage from the water saved by us is more important than any other reason.
