First I would make a call or visit to my bank!  It sounds odd that they would contact you through the mail about an issue with your account.  Especially one that you've had for twenty plus years!  Do you own a business?  Because I think the TIN# is a Tax Identification Number.  Personally, you wouldn't have one....but as a business owner you would.  Hope this helps.

According to the bank it is your ss number and according to the irs the bank is the one messing up my account....i have to talk to the irs again tomorrow to find out how to stop this and reclaim the funds that they falsely took from my account for the last 3-5 years...talk about being stressed out over someone else's mistakes.....
