    When a company decides about a product to be launched in a particular market, it is very necessary to identify the market segments where the product demand seems feasible. A company as a part of industrial and customer analysis carefully identifies the potential group of segments from where it can obtain revenues by selling its products. A company can identify many segments but it will target only those segments which its feels most favorable and opportunistic. For example Coca Cola market segment includes youngsters and those individuals who perceive Coca Cola as the drink which provides them good taste and fun.
