Etiquette says you do not do it at all. It is not proper to ask for money or gift cards. There is no polite way to add that request to your invitations.

What you might want to consider doing is asking the groomsmen and bridesmaids and both sets of parents to "get the word out" verbally. Done any other way and people are going to think you have bad manners. Got a loud mouth cousin or outgoing Uncle? Put them to work!
