ASP.net is nothing but Microsoft server-side Web technology. It gives an object-oriented programming approach to Web page execution. Any element in an ASP.net is considered as an object and is run on the server. Pages load considerably faster on the classic ASP pages where embedded Jscript or VB Script have to be repeatedly interpreted or cached.
