Where is Meadowhall?
 Meadowhall is in Sheffield, England. It first opened in 1990, and has over 270 stores. 30 million people visit the store each year, with 19.8 million visitors in its first year of opening. There is a large food area within Meadowhall. The area is known as the 'Oasis' and contains several famous food shops such as 'Pizza Express', 'KFC', and 'Burger King'. There is also a Vue cinema in the food section. Meadowhall has won a fair amount of awards, including two awards for its Retail Bonding Programme and two awards at the ICSC maxi Awards in 2006. Meadowhall has a fair amount of transport facilities, including bus, rail and tram, making it the only shopping centre in Britain to offer all three methods of transport. Other large stores within the centre include Debenhams, House of Fraser, Bhs, WH Smith, Waterstones, Boots and many more. In summer 2007, Meadowhall's £92 million refit will be completed. |
