    The Birmingham Post and the Birmingham Mail - as well as the Sunday Mercury are three local newspapers in Birmingham. All these three newspapers are owned by the Trinity Mirror. The Birmingham News and Birmingham City Council's free newspaper are the other tabloids published by the Trinity Mirror.

    The Birmingham Post was earlier known as, Daily Post. It was started in the year 1857 in Birmingham, England by John Frederick Feeney.  

    The Birmingham Mail , a small run tabloid newspaper is the best selling tabloid in the UK. It is distributed in very few areas around Birmingham like The Black Country and parts of Worcestershire and Staffordshire. This tabloid is published twice a day from Mondays to Saturdays.

    The Sunday Mercury is a tabloid that is published only on Sundays in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
