    Thailand which is often called as the Land of Smiles is a place which has many traditional celebrations and festivals in different times of the year. Some of the celebrations in Thailand are:

    Songkran: The Thai New Year.
    Loy Krathong which is celebrated when there is full moon of the 12th Lunar month. This is an event when the families and friends come together and pray for a good coming year. It is believed that this washes away the bad luck and sins that happened in the last year.

    Some of the other celebrations are Songkran Festival,  H.M. The Queen's Birthday Celebration, H.M. The King's Birthday, and several others. You can find all the celebrations and festivals here  in accordance with the months.
