What Are Tft Monitors?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

TFT Monitors are actually LCD displays that use a thin-film transistor technology. The cathode ray tubes are being replaced by LCD monitors. LCD monitors use TFT technology.

TFT Monitor technology makes use of tiny transistors for every pixel on display. These small transistors use a small amount of charge to control them. Thus the image can be refreshed or re-painted in seconds.

A 17 inch TFT monitor has around 1.3 million pixels and 1.3 million transistors. It produces a crisp image, vibrant  colors and improved response time for all multimedia applications.
