Shock When He Do Or Say Anything

I have this friend and for the past several months I have been doing a lot of the calling and emails. One day I was surprised because he sent me a nice email without me sending one first. So I did call him and tell him that I did receive it and was shock. Do he have a right to get mad from my remark since I was telling the truth, what should he do to make it better and do better.

You didn't say how good a friend this person is (best friend, acquaintance. Casual).  In any case, he has the right to act however he wishes.  I can't see why he reacted to your call in such a way.

Unless the two of you can talk about the incident, he won't know what to do to improve things between you.  You also have to think about what you would accept in the way of an apology.  Obviously, he hurt you, but it's up to you to decide what direction you take, but a conversation with him should get things rolling,

He just took it the wrong way that's all. Let him know it was a shock but a pleasant one and you liked it, if you did if not then don't lol. That should clear things up and if it doesn't and hes really a nice guy just send him a nice message right back and see what happens.
