What Issues Does Karachi Face Regarding The Overuse Of Billboards In The City?

The phenomenon of commercialization is both a menace and a blessing simultaneously.  For Karachi, it is playing the latter role in the case of billboards, the growing incorporation of which is posing a definite threat to the city in many aspects.  There is an urgent need to conduct an examination on the perpetually increase in size and number of billboards in Karachi. For this matter, the city district government and the Sindh government should be the parties responsible for this examination and should check the aspects behind he swift-paced urbanization that is overwhelming Karachi at the moment.  Not only that but this over-growth of billboards is also giving the city a state of ugliness and sometimes even a shabbily shambolic look.  The demand of the situation is to not only promulgate some regulations that involve decreasing the size of the billboards but also some diktats that diminish the number of billboards pasted all over the city.
