I myself am a drug addict, and I highly recommend you look into a program called "Narconon" or "Alanon." They are for families and loved ones of drug addicts. Aside from it being helpful to be around people  who know what you are going through, they help you to healthily detach while your loved one is in the throes of their addiction. They actually work a twelve step recovery, just as recovering addicts do. One of the cliche (but true) sayings is that when a loved one becomes an addict, the whole family gets sick as well. My parents started going a few years ago, and it has greatly helped them deal with me when I'm in my addiction, or even when I'm in recovery. Just Google either name, and they will have a list of meetings.
