Can You Calculate The Force Of Gravity On Earth Of An Object That Has A Mass Of 200 Kg?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Force of gravity is equal to the mass times gravitational acceleration of the body. The formula for force of gravity is;

    F = mg

    F = force of gravity

    m = mass of the object

    g = gravitational acceleration = 9.8 meter per second square

    In the given question;

    m = 200 kilograms

    F = 200 kilograms * 9.8 meter per second square

    F = 1960 newton
