What Is The Meaning Of Attainment?

Attainment means to achieve a desired goal, ambition or a state. In spiritual context attainment could possibly refer to the culmination of an individual's experience to the point where he achieves the ultimate truth or the ultimate freedom from individual restraints and desires. Paradoxically, it does not necessarily mean giving up on the world or life but grow one's understanding to the point where one can live harmoniously and in balance with one's environment. This state can be said to be the state of Nirvana in Hinduism or Buddhism or it the Sufi context it's the culmination of love where the creation becomes one with the creator and revels in the experience, having achieved an ultimate level of comprehension and being one with the Universe. It is a state of balance and the Zenith of one's existence as a human. The awareness levels grows to surpass one's primal urges and encompass all the wisdom that the world has to offer.
