    Hampstead is a name of an area located in the 'London Borough of Camden'. The suburban district of Hampstead is situated around 6.4 km to the north west of Charring Cross. The area of Hampstead boasts some of the most beautiful and expensive houses. The ceremonial county of Hampstead is Greater London.  The historic county of Hampstead is Middlesex; this status was given in the year 1889.

    The creation of luxurious buildings started some time in the year 1870 or during the 1880s
    There are many cultural attractions in the area of Hampstead; the Freud museum, Fenton house, Kenwood house, Keats house and the Camden Arts Centre. Some of the famous citizens of Hampstead are; Sigmund Freud, William Blake, Dirk Bograde and Lee Miller.
