Who Climbed The Tree To See Jesus?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Was it Zachias? I remembered way back, to a little song I used to sing at nursery school about him climbing a tree and Jesus telling him, get down Zachias,  because I  am coming to your house today.
I also remembered it was a sycamore tree that he climbed, but I do not know if these occurred where Jesus was in the middle east, or if this was just only  the imagination of the Sunday school teacher, who  just made it up. However, I hope I am right, as I can still remember many of the songs we sang there, and that formed my religious education.
So I am voting for Zachias, the short little man, who had to climb a tree to see Jesus.

Yes it was Zaccheus. He was a tax collector. You can find this story in the book of   Luke 19:1-10. I hope this helps you!
