Is Justin A Bible Name?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

No.  The name "Justin" is found nowhere in the Bible, nor is it derived from any biblical name.

I believe it to be a shortened form of the name "Justinian" which was common in the Roman empire during early church times.  I believe at least one saint was named Justinian, but am not absolutely sure about that.
