1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Renewable energy is basically the term used to describe energy which is obtained from resources which are regenerative or for all functional requirements cannot face depletion. Due to this important fact, renewable energy sources are distinctively different from fossil fuels, and they also have an additional benefit that they do not generate as many greenhouse gases and pollutants as the process of combustion of fossil fuels does.

Renewable resources are basically those obtained in nature, such as solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, bio energy etc. Due to the obvious significance of these types of energy resources, they have started being used on a wide scale in developed and developing nations. Many nations and corporations endorse the use of renewable energies by way of tax incentives as well as subsidies.

Renewable energy concerns natural occurrences like sunlight, wind, tides as well as geothermal heat.
