What Does Poison Ivy And Poison Oak Look Like?

Poison Ivy and poison oak contain urushiol which can cause allergic skin reactions. Rash begin after one or two days of exposure in the form itchy red bumps or blister and continue to spread for few days. It is not contagious. Cleaning with water and soap immediately after exposure reduces number of blisters. Oral antihistamine can work. Steroid creams can work but before appearance of blister.
