Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

DynDNS is primary DNS hosting service. It is the only Domain Name System (DNS) source for Coop TLD. They have received the "Best Buy" rating in April 2006 and bagged an ideal 10 out of 10 rating in general value in a poll which was held by the consumer magazine.

DynDNS was launched in 1998 when they started giving out free Dynamic DNS service to general public which made them quiet famous. Over the years DynDNS.org started offering services that people had to pay for, along with certain version of free services. They later on switched their domain to DynDNS.com.

Their main service till date is Dynamic DNS, which provides its users an address which gives you the right to host services like home websites, ftp servers etc.

if it is a standard primary dns then it is the dns server which stores the host name records and dns resource records in the zone.

This primary dns contains a master copy of the records in a zone which does not have any duplicates so you can have only one standard primary dns.

if you want to change any thing in this dns then you should do it on the same system where the dns server has been installed.
