In 1980 Sidney Published came out with his book Rage of Angels. The book is one of his better known works. The book intertwines the world of law, politics and organized crime. The Protagonist and tragic queen in all of this drama is the character of lawyer Jennifer Parker. The other characters in this film are Michael Moretti a kind of King Pin or Al Capone and Adam Warner a political aspirant.
When Sidney Sheldon is proclaimed brilliant it is not because of his extensive knowledge of any particular science or profession; say for instance criminal law, Sheldon was never a lawyer, was never a student of criminal law, the reason he is able to write so well about criminal law is his ability and skill in determining what people want to read; much like a feel good movie.
