Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Cincinnati was named originally as Losantiville but it was renamed as Cincinnati in 1790 to honor the society of Cincinnati which was formed to honor the ideals and officers of the revolutionary war. This was done because many revolutionary war officers were granted lands in Cincinnati.
