Saturn is considered as the second largest planet of our Solar System. It is also the sixth planet from the Sun. It is one of the Jovian planets. Around 60 moons orbit Saturn.
This planet is mainly composed of Hydrogen with small quantities of Helium. This planet has a very hot interior, having a temperature of 11700 degree centigrade.
Temperature on the surface of the planet varies a great deal. It exhibits a banded pattern. At the bottom, it has a temperature of -23 degree C. Then there is another layer whose temperature is -93 degree C.Then the temperatures goes up to -153 degree C on the next band. However, the average or normal temperature is considered to be -185 degree C and over the vertex it could be as high as -122 degree C.
