I raise the larger goats but this is the time of year that they shed their winter fur. This causes them to sometimes have dry skin too and they rub against fences and other things to scratch. A couple of things you can do are: Brush her with a dog brush at least once a week. Bathe her with a good moisturising dog shampoo (I know this sounds odd but it will help with the itch) be sure to check her for fleas as they will also cause itching and excessive scratching. These are the first things I would check out. I hope this helps.

I raise Boer Goats and used to have pygmys too. But i don't think it has any thing to do with her just having a baby other possible stress. But this is the time of year that they loose their winter fur and most of the time they rub against fences to get the fur out
