The day before is best Try not to use spray or setting solutions, this si so you don't have any raw areas on you scalp. Good luck

NEVER wash your hair before any chemical process; perms, bleaching, tinting, etc..you want the natural scalp oils to be there to help protect the scalp from the chemicals, if only a little!!

When you get a perm at a beauty salon they wash your hair before they put the perm in. So if you are getting a home perm you need to wash your hair first.

No you do not wash your hair before you get a perm,. The perm comes out better when the hair is naturally a little dirty
