Anderson is a city in Madison County, Indiana. There are many places of interest to visit from museums, art galleries to the speedway and Anderson 1st Assembly of God. If you are planning on travelling to Anderson then here are the top 5 things which you should do whilst your are there:

Located in the historic downtown courthouse, this museum depicts the history of Anderson County, starting from prehistoric times, through its many exhibits, artefacts, and memorabilia on local history and the area. The museum gives a glimpse of the past.
2. Andersons Main stage Theatre
Anderson's Main stage Theatre is one of Indiana's longest running community Theatres and each summer the Theatre produces five shows which are well worth a visit
3. Anderson County Fairground
This multipurpose, year round facility hosts a variety of events including concerts, festivals, rodeos, and antique shows throughout the year, as well as the Anderson County Fair. This event draws the locals from all over the county and must if you are staying in the area at the time.
4. Anderson Speedway
Historic Anderson Speedway is home to weekly racing along with the annual America Little 500 Sprint Car Race and the Anderson 400 with the Sunoco Super Series Late Models Race.

McCarthy's serves Regional American Cuisine in a casual Bistro atmosphere. Recently refurbished they offer a seasonally changing menu with outdoor dining when weather is permitting.
