From what I found out at the VA, yesterday, if you are receiving VA benefits, whether pension or otherwise, and at least since last November 2008, you qualify... Best bet to see if you qualify: 1.call 1800 827 1000 .... Let the message say a few words then hit 1. 2.let this next message say a few words and then hit option 1. 3. Now let this 3rd message say a few words and hit 0. You will then have a customer service rep and either they will be able to tell you if you qualify or they will route you to a real rep. They said that they expect the checks to go out in June.
