Developing the operating system following points is essential:
Creating and loading the database: Once the physical model is developed the DBA creates the structure of the database using the data definition language for the chosen DBMS. He or she establishes physical data sets, defines libraries and loads, the data into the database usually using a DBMS utility program that accepts linear files, places the data in the appropriate locations, and builds indexes and/or sets pointer values as records are loaded.
Developing user Views: The DBA attempts to satisfy the data needs of all users. A user's view may be identical to the one requested in the initial design stages. Often however user's requests change as they begin to understand the system better.
Writing and maintaining the documentation:Ideally, the database documentation is written automatically by the data dictionary system as the project progresses.Developing and enforcing data standards: Since the database is shared by many users, it is important that standards be defined and enforced for the benefit of all. The user interface should be designed to make it easy for users to follow the standards. The system can automatically check for errors and range restrictions.
