Have You Ever Used The Spice Called Grains Of Paradise?
This spice is from the African coast, kind of like a peppery taste, a bit bitter. I saw a TV chef use a pinch of it in the apple pie he was making, and wondered if any Blurters have ever used it in any of their recipes, and if so, what recipe was it?

From what I read, it's not an easy spice to find in the U.S., and I don't think I'd add it to apple pie (which I made, but substituted cinnamon). If I ever have an opportunity to use it, though, I'll let you know!
