      According to the 2001 census figures, the population of Australia was 18,972,350 during census night. By end of 2001, Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) estimated the Australian population at 19.6 million including Australians staying overseas on a temporary basis. Indigenous Australians comprise of 25% of the total population.

      Australia has a lot to offer for tourists on holidays from adventure sports to exploring the nature or simply relaxing in an isolated beach and much more.
