Ordinance is a legal promulgation by the head of the state and it is temporary law on any matter which is urgent. This provides the legal basis for tackling any problem or issues which are urgent in nature. This process is used especially when the formal law making body of any country is not in session.
On the other hand ordnance is a unit of production for making the arms and other material which are useful in the military operation and military purposes.
