I was Dorothy from the wizard of oz. My family all dressed in that theme, we even had the apple throwing tree, and the flying monkey! We won first prize at a big halloween party.
Lol, that is funny, my husbands family called their one sister that same nickname. Lol Wizard of Oz, is a great theme.
The last costume I ever wore was when I went as myself. Yeah, it's a tedious answer but it's the truth. I went with some friends a couple years ago and I just had fun. I plan on doing that this year as well.

My family has annual halloween parties..unfortunately Ive had to miss them since moving to Mississippi... But the last one I went to I was dressed as a COW....lmao!!! I made the costume.. It was in 2 pieces with a separate headpiece so I planned to use the suit for jammies, but never did...I still have the costume....lol

I dressed up as high school girl from the 1950's. saddle shoes and all, in 2006. took the kids to a harvest party at a local church. there was this girl there in "old lady" clothes and a wig all eskew, she had pinned stuffed animal kitties all over her and was the 'crazy cat lady' cute and clever

I went as a vampiress. (go figure right). This year I'll probably go as a vampiress, only in a black velvet dress. If not I'll be ginny weasly but those skirts are short and low, i have to much assets for both.
