You don't really give a lot of info here like age other symptoms some people can suffer from forms of arthritis at any age but more common in middle age and elderly if this is becoming a problem all the time you need a check up with your gp

This problem is usually due to lack of synovial fluid in the joints. This fluid reduce frictions when two bones in a joint come closer. This problem is more common in middle and old age. I advise you to visit a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

I have the same problem with my bones. Also iam a 48 year old woman and im pretty sure mine has to do with ageing. My shoulder and my left knee and some times even my hip bone hurts so bad. Especially when i wake up in the morning. Im thinking it could be caused from deteriorating bone density.
