Have Any Of You Experimanted With Reflective Mylar?

And I mean artistic photography experiments To Chris: One thing I have tried is line the inside of a cylinder with it. I take pictures of flowers and stuff through this cylinder. The pictures turn out all swirly around the subject, which is the center focus. It is a neat technique. May take time to get the hang of though. I wonder what else I could try with it......please share ideas!! Jenn

I have used it in the past - and other reflective surfaces, but personally I just prefer using a matt look material, like thick black cotton. On my jewellery photography you can see an example of me using the black cotton.. I can't see a reflective surface would work well for this type of photography. What sort of things have you been photographing?

Well, one thing I have done is line the inside of a cylinder with it. I take pictures of flowers and stuff through this tube. The colors of the flower come all swirly with the flower infocus in the very center of it all. It's pretty neat once you get the hang of it. I wonder what other kinds of things I could try.............please share ideas!!
