We all do have some problem in asking questions and can be a little more difficult if you're asking a question to a guy. Basically it depends on what kind of questions you want to ask or want to know. If you are in a relation with someone it gets a little difficult to come with questions your not sure, you should ask him or no, especially when you're too shy. A lot of questions run through your mind like, what his reaction will be? What will he think about you? What will he say? What if it damages the relation? Or what if he thinks you're not his type? Or maybe he thinks of you in a negative way? It's in human nature to think this way.

Well first of all you should think about what you really want to ask. And then again it all really depends on what kind of person he really is, that can seriously influence the whole situation. You should also see that if you're comfortable with him or is he comfortable with you. It depends on what kind of a relation you are having with him. It is at times difficult to ask questions, without knowing the results. Give it a chance and ask him, you never know maybe it take your relationship to an entire new level. And your bond with him becomes stronger.

Its hard because you like him so you don't want to say the wrong thing in front of him and be embarrassed.
