What Types Of Tea Are There?

There are different types of tea such as Black tea, Oolong tea, Green tea, White tea, etc. Black tea is also called as 'Keemun'. It has full taste. In case of black tea, tealeaves are fully fermented and dried. It has amber colour.

According to taste and colour, Oolong tea comes between black and green tea. In case of Oolong tea, amount of leaves fermentation is very less and leaves are not completely dried. It is most popular in China.   

Green tea has light flavour. In case of Green tea, leaves are not fermented and hence it has very fresh taste. The leaves are completely dried. It has pale green colour.

White tea is a rear tea and it is more expensive. In case of White tea, leaves are picked up from the plant when buds are covered by white hair. Hence the name 'White' is given. It has white colour. The leaves are not fermented. It has light and sweet flavour.
